Shernethia Brooks is a licensed cosmetologist, salon studio owner, educator, and founder of HHG Beauty Academy.
With over 25 years of experience behind the chair, Shernethia has built her career around one core belief: healthy hair, when treated with intention and technique, never goes out of style. Her work has trained and influenced over 800 beauty professionals, earning HHG Beauty Academy recognition as a trusted resource for silk press and press n curl education.
After years of success as a stylist, product creator, and digital educator, Shernethia stepped back to realign with purpose and legacy. During this period, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, further deepening her passion for mentorship, personal development, and holistic career growth within the beauty industry.
Today, Shernethia leads HHG Beauty Academy as an on-demand education platform designed to support stylists at every stage of their journey — blending technical mastery, healthy hair principles, and professional confidence, and self-belief.
